After having good ratings with its pilot episode, TLC has picked up "Meet the Putmans" for a full season which will air sometime this fall, according to WXYZ Detroit.

TLC announced Thursday that it has officially canceled 19 Kids and Counting, following revelations about acts of child molestation committed by one of the kids, Josh Duggar, when he was a teenager. Some of Josh's sisters were among his victims.
The network had originally pulled episodes of the show following the revelation, but at taht time they did not say that it would be gone for good.
They (meaning Hollywood and TV executives) have run out of ideas. Word from the left coast is they are casting the new--wait for it--"Gilliagns' Island" movie. No, that isn't a 50 year old TV show getting the big screen treatment for the first time. *Eyes rolling*

There is a TV show on TLC called "All American Muslim". It's a basic cable "reality" show based on family's day to day life in Dearborn, but Detroit. The family is Muslim. The show portrays their struggle to live a normal life in a country which most of the time isn't very forgiving of any one who is "different". But, they would probably agree, the United States of Am
