Word has come that the Detroit big three automakers have agreed to close all of their plants due to their worker fears about the coronavirus.

The news came to employees in 30 of the 52 UAW staffed facilities.

Rough news for GM employees comes in the middle of the holiday season

A Facebook post that went viral yesterday has prompted a response from the company.

The posted on Facebook: "We stand by these hard workers 100%."

A scary scene played out Thursday night as a car drove through a group of UAW picketers, clipping one of them.

The decision was made this morning at a meeting in Detroit.
