The B.O.B. - The Big Old Building on the corner of Fulton & Monroe is re-opening today for the second time. And sorry, there's no pig roast this time, like when they re-opened on June 19.

It totally makes sense for the BOB to re-open after seeing long lines down the street on Social House and Grand Woods nearby.

The real good news is that Judson's -- a classic steakhouse and wine bar -- that is is one of my favorites in GR will open for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns happened in Michigan. Right now, it looks like you'll be able to get most of your Judson's favorites including burgers, world class steaks and salmon. No word on whether my favorite bartender Rip will be there, because not sure how seats they would be able to put at his bar.

Gilly's Smokehouse and BOB's Beer Garden will also be open for dine-in or to-fo. And for right now The B.O.B. will only be open on Friday and Saturdays from 4 p.m. -midnight.

Eve Nightclub, Dr. Grins Comedy Club, Bobarino's and Sky Deck will remain closed for now.

B.O.B.'s Beer Garden will havel ive acoustic performances on Fridays starting at 6 p.m. with Jake Stevens playing tonight. And Bob's draft beer will still be available on draft and for to-go orders. The BOB wants you to also know that dogs are welcome outside at B.O.B.'s Beer Garden.

Reminder - if going to the B.O.B. this weekend you will be asked to wear a mask and adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
