The old truck eating 100th Street bridge has been dismantled, and now it's just a matter of cleaning it up. 

The old bridge and its low clearance became famous in the summer of 2019 when it survived hits from at least five different trucks. The incidents helped the Michigan Department of Transportation speed up the timetable to replace it.

The old span, built in 1957 came down in pieces Monday and Tuesday. All that's left now is the sweeping up and some beams.
