The Griffins Get Knocked Out By The Stars

When the "Three Stars of the Game" happen at Van Andel Arena, I pick from 3 or 4 songs to play. "Shining Star" by Earth, Wind and Fire or "Starry Eyed Surprise". Maybe even "Counting Stars". But I didn't expect when the Stars won in overtime Friday night I didnt think the Stars would end the Griffs season so quick.

Sunday night deep in the heart of Texas, the Stars beat the defending Cup champs 7-1, ending the Griffins long stretch of hockey West Michigan hadn't seen in a long time.
Let's not dwell on the sadness of the end of the season, let's instead look back at happier times. 11 months ago, the Griffs raised the cup. Enjoy this look back!
