The World’s Largest Marvel Exhibit Opens This Week in Michigan
Back in January, we first told you about the "biggest Marvel exhibition ever" that was coming to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. The exhibit was supposed to be open from March 28th through September 7th, 2020 but then COVID-19 happened and everything shut down.
Well, here's some good news about the exhibit. According to The Henry Ford website, the Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes is finally going to be able to open this week. Yes, there will be some changes to ensure that everyone remains safe. Some of the changes at Henry Ford include the fact that they will only be open Thursdays through Sundays and there will be a limited number of daily visits allowed. Also, they have eliminated hands-on activities at Henry Ford and most interactions between guests and staff will have a presence of six feet or more.
Right now the Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes will be open July 16th through July 19th, July 23rd through July 26th and July 30th through August 1st. The exhibit will be open on those days from 9:30 am until 5 pm. It will include "some of Marvel's most iconic and sought-after pages, costumes and props to explore comics to film and will chronicle the story of Marvel and its influence on visual culture, while also uncovering the stories of individual characters like Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange."
