Tickets for Michigan’s “Polar Express” Train ALREADY On Sale!
Technically, winter is just ending and Spring is about to start but who doesn't love the feeling of Christmas?!
We're only nine short months away from the holiday but tickets for Michigan's North Pole Express are already on sale for this winter season. Tickets are a round-trip ride on the train which is pulled by the historic Pere Marquette 1225 (yes, it's what the movie was based on) which starts in Owosso and takes you to Ashley's Country Christmas.
The Steam Railroad Institute posted on their Facebook that once you arrive in the small village, you'll attend a two-hour Christmas party "straight out of the past." Is it just me or did we just walk into a Hallmark movie? Fingers crossed your handsome hunk is on that same train or, maybe, you have an accidental meeting while walking through town and sparks fly. Anything is possible... it's the magic of Christmas!
Before I get carried away in my fantasy world, if you're interested, trips are Saturday's & Sunday's starting November 16th through December 21st, departing at 10a & 5p. Tickets go FAST so get yours soon because the website already crashed on Monday due to heavy traffic.
New this year is the Pere Marquette Parlour, an adults-only section consisting of 1950s Hi-Level lounge cars. Get more info and tickets for the North Pole Express here.
