So we all know the Whitecaps always love big and unique food items (the Back and the Fifth Third Burger are glowing examples) and now the higher up teams in the Tigers' food chain (pun intended) are following suit.

New to the Fifth Third Field (Mudhens') and Comerica Park's (Tigers--noticing the banking theme here?) are the giant Poutine Dog and the Bacon Mac and Cheese. This story from our friends at Stadium Journey explains the items your stomach might fall in love with this summer.

"the Toledo Mud Hens announcing a new 'Bacon Mac n' Cheese Dog' to be served this season at Fifth Third Park, but the majors are getting in on the act. The Mud Hens parent club, the Detroit Tigers unveiled an expanded hot dog menu including a Poutine Dog, topped with french fries, cheese curds, and gravy at Comerica Park. The major food item this week comes from the Arizona Diamondbacks, who unveiled this monstrosity, an 18-inch, corn dog stuffed with jalapenos, cheese and bacon served on a (death)bed of fries, all for a cool $25 at Chase Field."

25 bucks! That IS the Big Leagues! That bacon Mac and Cheese sounds perfect! 1 please!
