TIL: Casey Was In A Jimmy Kimmel News Montage [Video]

Jimmy Kimmel likes to poke fun at local newscasters by putting together montages of them doing the same thing on the same day. Today I learned Casey was one of them.

On this morning's Audio Vault segment, we played a clip from the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show. In it, he made fun of several morning newscasters all saying "I can't believe it's March!", much like my Mom used to in 1968.

Casey then revealed to me that she was embarrassed to admit that she was featured in a similar Kimmel bit where he made fun of newscasters talking like pirates on 'Talk Like A Pirate Day' (yes, that's a real thing).

Well, I couldn't let that rest, so I went and dug up the clip. So here's Casey from her TV days talking like a pirate.

Casey deserves props for going with something different than 'Ahoy!' or just 'RRRRRRR!', instead going with the more unique 'batten down the hatches'.
