The truck eating bridge has been a faithful servant to those driving over US 131, but now, it's gone.

The Michigan Department of Transportation has released this video of the 100th Street Bridge in Byron Center being dismantled. The new span will be two feet higher, making it easier for trucks to get underneath it.

But the old one had so much character! Goodbye, 100th Street Bridge!
