Townsquare Media announced today it has reached an agreement to acquire Kalamazoo Ribfest from The Arc Community Advocates.

As part of the deal, Townsquare Media also inked a long-term partnership with The Arc to produce the event on an annual basis.

The Arc Community Advocates, a non-profit focused on helping people with intellectual and development disabilities, has operated Ribfest for the past 22 years.

Ribfest 2014 is Aug. 7 to 9 at Arcadia Creek Festival Place, and is downtown Kalamazoo's largest event.
