Two people were injured in two separate shootings on Grand Rapids southeast side early Monday.

According to Wood TV 8, the first shooting occurred on Kalamazoo Avenue near Hall Street. GRPD says a gunshot victim was found around 12:30a.m. The person's injuries are not considered life threatening.

Another shooting victim was found at approximately the same outside Miss Tracy’s Liquor Store on Franklin Street near Fuller Avenue SE. The victim's injuries are not considered life threatening.

Further information about suspects or the victims has not been released at this time.

According to Wood TV 8, police say though it is early in the investigation, they do not believe the shootings are related.
