Two New Upscale Chains Hit West Michigan

Two new chain restaurants have entered the Grand Rapids-West Michigan area. One opened yesterday, one will open next summer. As I reported a couple of months ago, P.F. Changs' new location on the Beltline has become a reality. The first Changs in this part of the state is helping bring other national chains to West Michigan.

Just announced yesterday as well, the Four Winds casino in New Buffalo is bringing a Hard Rock Cafe to Southwest Michigan! The rock themed restaurant will open in the casino next summer, along with a 1,600 seat seat multi-use event center (Read-concert venue) and a new nine-story 250 room hotel tower. The economy isn't all that bad here in the Mitten State after all!
