And you thought a run on toilet paper was bad? However, this isn't as bad as it sounds.

If you were planning to pound away the Holidays, things just got real.

Meijer announced this week that they will limit the sales of certain brands of liquor over the Holiday season because of supply chain issues.

But there is a silver lining, the Grand Rapids based grocery chain said the limit will be brand specific. In other words, you're limited to two bottles of Tito's, but if you wanted four bottles of vodka to take the edge off, you could by two bottles of a different brand.

The limits are in place now and will remain at least through the Holiday season.

The limits will not apply to beer, wine or special gift packages.
