Virtual Wine Tasting in Grand Rapids

Love this idea The Reserve is doing a Virtual Wine Tasting this Saturday at 4pm.

So here's how it works - you buy the wines at The Reserve and then register online for the Zoom call. This really sounds like a fun and safe way to go wine tasting in the comfort of your own home.

This week’s Virtual Wine Tasting features Tenuta Delle Terra Nere

1. Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Bianco $22 (This will be a white - will be interesting to see how dry it is. Other Italian Whites tend to be sweeter)
2. Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosado $22 (This would be a Rose and same thought on how sweet this RED is too)
3. Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso ‘Feudo di Mezzo’ $45 (Rosso means REDS in Italian, this will be very interesting to taste vs. the wines I'm used to from California)

Virtual Wine Tasting cost $80, but remember that includes the 3 wines ($9 off) The Virtual Wine Tasting will be limited to 30 tickets so you will probably be able to ask some questions on the Zoom call.  That's not too bad in you intend to share your taste at home. And Here's More on the Wine: Terre Nere starting over 30 years ago – in Sicily by restoring historic vineyards that had been abandoned on the slopes of the volcano. This is high elevation wine some of the vineyards are over 3,000 feet above sea level!

THE RESERVE claims this tasting is a must especially if you're already a fan of White Burgungy, Barolo and Barbaresco. This tasting fascinates me as most of my Italian Wine Experience has been with Piedmonte Region with Barbaresco, Barberas, Tuscan wines including Sangiovese. And I know this tasting may intimidate you, but that's the beauty you get to do it from home. And you won't be drinking and driving. I also recommended getting some of their cheese as take-out too for this one.So think I may have to do this myself too and continue my wine journey of life.
