Another Chick-Fil-A could be opening soon in West Michigan.

Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that the City of Walker has approved plans for the new fast food restaurant in the Westown at Wilson development in Walker.

The plans are for 4,988-square-foot restaurant with dine-in and a double drive-thru on the site of the former German Village at Lake Michigan Drive NW and Wilson Avenue NW, in the Standale neighborhood.

A construction timeline and possible opening date have not yet been shared.

According to GRBJ, a rep for Chick-fil-A said in an October 21, 2020 statement:

“While we are excited to be moving closer toward a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Walker, we do not have any updates to share on timing. We look forward to joining the community and serving all of our guests with great food and genuine hospitality."

There are currently three Chick-Fil-A locations in the Grand Rapids area:

    • 2750 E Beltline Ave SE, Grand Rapids
    • 1545 Edgeknoll Dr SE, Grand Rapids
    • 700 54th St SW, Wyoming
