There is going to a be a full moon on Halloween this year... and the Walker, Mich. police department doesn't want any virgins out there lighting black flame candles to summon the Sanderson Sisters to town.

The Walker PD shared a Public Service Announcement to Facebook this week:

If you're like... ummmm, what?

They're of course referencing beloved 1993 Halloween movie, "Hocus Pocus", starring Better Middler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as three witch sisters who return from the dead when an unwitting teen, Max, lights a candle. The evil trio wreak havoc on the town, attempting to complete a spell by sunrise that will make them immortal. It's up to Max, his kid sister, his crush, and a 300-year-old cat to stop them and save all the children of the town.

I mean, it seems far-fetched... but hey, as Walker PD points out, it IS 2020 after all...

I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to catch "Hocus Pocus" on TV this Halloween season. Earlier this year it was announced that a sequel is in the works, and Bette Midler recently confirmed she's on board.
