Adrianne Lewis is a woman from Twin Lake, who until two years ago led an unassuming life as a Michigan teenager.

But ever since she posted videos of her super long tongue on YouTube, she has become a world wide sensation.

Lewis announced recently she will be included in the latest edition of Ripley's Believe It Or Not's annual book for having what they claim is the world's longest tongue.

Lewis has measured her tongue at 4 inches long extended, which would beat the existing world record of 3.98 inches, currently held by Nick Stoeberl in the Guinness Book of World Records.

She can lick her nose, chin, elbow and even her eye.

“I feel as though I may have inherited it,” she told Barcroft TV. “But I think with time and me being the weird kid that I was and always sticking out my tongue, it could have stretched.”

On her Twitter feed, Lewis says she forgot to send her verifying photo collage to Guinness for verification. But that's a moot point. It's not like her tongue is going anywhere.
