As they say, OMG, Mega Millions is going to be up to $1 Billion dollars. Stunning, isn't it. It's  just the fourth time in U.S. history, a multi-state lottery has a jackpot of over $1 billion. And it's right in front of us again!

Since no one matched Tuesday nights drawing of 7, 29, 60, 63 and 66, plus the gold Mega Ball 15, which was worth $830 million, the growth continues. Now, that doesn't mean there weren't some winners. There were 6,775,330 winners of smaller prizes, but no cigar for the big one! Actually, it's been over three months since anyone has won the Mega Millions Jackpot.

Between now and Friday night the jackpot will likely grow beyond $1 Billion, and, oh man, your dreams are blowing up aren't they.

Your chances, my chances, anyone's chances are so small of winning. Only Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Utah, and Alabama don't play the game. So, with 45 of the 50 states playing, the odds of drawing all six numbers in Mega Millions are 1 in nearly 302 million.

I'm thinking that if I won, HA, I would take the cash payout which would be much less like maybe around $600 million. I could deal with that!

So, think about it. What would you do IF you won? Quit your job? Of course I would pay off debts, invest, help my kids and grandkids, donate to favorite charities, etc. But, just for kicks, it's fun to dream about what you could buy what could I buy with all that money.

You could pick one up for maybe $89.4 million. Might as well buy a few. One for each continent?

You’d only be handing over half of that wad of cash, according to real estate listings firm Zillow. White House property: $398 million. But, the chance to be President: priceless.

Ah, one can only dream.

Oh well, back to reality. Friday’s drawing will be held at 11 p.m. our time.
