What’s So Great about Living in Downtown Grand Rapids?

Stumbled across this video on YouTube that featured a real estate agent talking to people in downtown and asking them why living in downtown was so cool. Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised by the responses.

Granted I only lived in downtown for about a month when I first moved to Grand Rapids. But, I enjoyed the fact I could walk everywhere. Work, food, bars, Van Andel, Devos Performance, the museums, all of the events at Rosa Parks and movies in the park at Ah-Nab-Awen Park.

Compared to my (relatively speaking) small hometown where, well, there's no good reason to live downtown there ... unless you like casinos and night clubs, then, you're in luck.
