This is the residue from just one cottonwood tree in my Northeast Grand Rapids neighborhood. When does this stuff go away? My nose hopes it's soon.

One of the things I forgot about during my time away from West Michigan was the intensity and duration of the floating residue from the native Cottonwood tree (populus deltoides).

What began as a slight annoyance has now left my car covered with the stuff, my nose full of it, my apartment screen door accumulating it, and my patience wearing thin.  This stuff goes away in July, right?  Wikipedia doesn't offer a clue.

Other than that, everything this summer has been perfect.

Carry on and have a great weekend!
