A Kent County man faces criminal charges after he shot a Canadian Goose he said was being a bit too loud at night.

DNR Officer Justin Ulberg received an interesting story when he responded to reports of a dead Canadian goose in a residential area of Kent County.

The man being interviewed initially denied shooting the goose with a pellet gun, but then broke down and admitted he did it, but only after telling Ulberg the darn bird was keeping him up at night.

The incident has been turned over to the county's prosecutor's office, where the man will hope that they can relate to wildlife that won't shut up at night. I certainly understand the man's point of view.
