Muskegon Car Wash

The Grand Bay Car Wash in Muskegon Township surveillance camera captured a woman dropping off four newborn kittens and then driving away.

You can see in the photo above the woman holding a cooler that contained the 4 kittens. The mystery woman did this right in the middle of the day Monday afternoon.

If you look closely at the picture above you can see the 4 defenseless newborn kittens sitting helplessly on a sewer grate as the woman drives off without a care in the world.

Abandoned Kittens

These are the freshly newborn kittens that were left behind and found by Grand Bay Car Wash co-owner Will Kuczmera.

 According to WZZM Kuczmera said, "It's kind of disgusting. Like, why wouldn't this person just drop them off at one of the animal shelters?"

I have a feeling that is the same sentiment that anyone who views this story would share.

Good Samaritan

A good Samaritan by the name of Kimberly Erickson who works at Ray's Mini Mart across the street had a customer tell her about the abandoned kittens. She stepped in and contacted the Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven.

Just like a baby, these kittens are hungry, tired, and in dire need of their mother at this crucial stage in their life.

Volunteer at Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven

Rachel Buit a volunteer at the Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven is the person that picked up the kittens to try and save them. She noticed the kittens were just days old and crying for their mom.

Seeing one of the kittens in a person's hand gives you an idea of just how young and small these kittens are.

A rescuer attempts to feed one of the kittens with a syringe. Food and rest will be the best medicine for the kittens for the time being.

Security footage also spotted a couple of cats running from the car that dropped off the kittens so a trap has been set hoping to cat the mother to reunite with the kittens. Two more kittens were found by the dumpster at the car wash.

The woman who dropped off the kitten's identity is being withheld since she has yet to be charged with a crime while police continue to investigate the incident.
