Its seems like every year, when it heats up, the violence heats up. Police are looking into a crime where four people were stabbed early Monday morning in Kentwood.

According to WOOD TV, there was a fight called in to police just before 1 a.m. Monday morning that was happening outside of a home in the 5700 block of Sable Ridge Drive near the crossroads of 60th Street and Wing Avenue.

According to the Kentwood Police Department, during the fight, one person got hit in the head with a bottle and was hospitalized.

Police were again called back to the house in the 3 a.m. hour with reports of multiple people who were stabbed.

There was a violent attack where four men were stabbed with a knife. One of the victims received multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest and is in the hospital in severe condition. The other three men only suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Kentwood Police arrested two men involved in the stabbing, that included one of the victims.

Still no word on what led to the the stabbings. This case is still under police investigation.
