Okay, we either were there, or we all saw the nothing short of awesome spectacle downtown.  The Artprize entry 'Lights in the Night' was fantastic when the lanterns flew in the air, but now it's coming under fire for safety and other reasons.

Turns out the city manager allowed for only 2,500 lanterns to be released, but the actual amount was 15,000, quite a bit more.  Officially, there was no report of damage or other issues, but it's cause a bit of a political firestorm with the city and the artist.
