Lately, it seems like every artist has been releasing their latest works on that classic format of vinyl. I have been trying to bring up my vinyl collection lately, especially with KISS re-releasing all of their albums on vinyl. My wallet has been emptying quickly sadly, but another one showed up recently that said, "Darn it, I have to buy this one!"
I most likely will never make it into space, nor will most people. However, if someone would like to pay for me to go into space, that would be pretty awesome. For us that will never make it into space, we have to settle with watching Gravity or Apollo 13, or do we?
NASA has done something pretty cool, by attaching HD cameras to the International Space Station and you can view planet Earth in real time from up above!
As a gaming history geek, it was a very exciting weekend. For years, I have been reading of the rise and fall of Atari and the gaming industry. Many myths and legends have been spoken of over the years, some true and some not. It's not everyday that we get a rare chance to see someone figure out a myth, and front the cost for it. Perhaps one of the biggest myths that was solved this weekend was the infamous 'Atari Landfill Burial of ET.'
I have, and always will be a KISS ARMY member till the day I am laid to rest. I'm only 26, so I was not around when KISS hit the scene in 1973, but I remember watching a movie featuring these guys in war paint named "Detroit Rock City." Seeing the spectacle of this band got me hooked on them. I quickly wanted everything KISS, including vinyl albums. I remember where I got my first album too!
We have been teasing for a while now about how we MAYBE have FRONT ROW tickets to Bryan Adams: The Bare Bones Tour. Well, the jig is up! We actually have one pair of tickets to the show for FRONT ROW! Here is how you win!
I typed a nice little retrospective of Studio 28 today and it's imminent destruction. While finding some research on the old theater, I found an amazing website that features all types of great pictures of Michigan Drive-Ins, Malls, Beaches, and more spanning from the 30's all the way up to the 80's!
