I am thrilled to be on 100.5 The River weekdays from 10am – 3pm! I have lived in West Michigan my entire life and am a graduate of both West Catholic High School and Grand Valley State University. Before joining 100.5 The River, I worked at other radio stations in Kalamazoo, Big Rapids and Grand Rapids. I have been married for over 15 years. My wife and I have three children: a 10-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old boy. You'll hear them on air with me from time to time when they're not in school. I’m always talking about what’s going on in and around Grand Rapids. I love ArtPrize, exploring West Michigan and rooting for GVSU, Michigan, the Lions and the Tigers. Thanks for listening!

The post-Labor Day law was created ten years ago to benefit Michigan's tourism industry.

As more days are added to the school year, it's time to waive the post-Labor Day requirement for all schools and put the education of Michigan students ahead of the interests of the tourism industry.
