Cap’n Crunch Would Like to Address Haters

Cap'n Crunch has come forward to address the current allegations of his true rank on board the S.S. Crunch.  Please take the time to hear the words from the Cap'n for yourself.

If you are wondering what spawned this controversy, it was an image that went viral about 2 weeks ago.  The image was posted on Reddit and quickly spread all over the internet afterward.

Reddit user Magnifiscent also makes a good point...

Captain is not just a rank, but a position. Some frigates, destroyers, or even subs are captained by Commanders.

So, while Crunch may hold the official rank of Commander (OF-4), he may actually be addressed as Captain.
