The Rolling Stones have added one more date to their '50 & Counting' North American tour, which will run through May and June. The legendary rockers have announced a concert - which they are billing as the final date on the tour - at the Verzion Center in Washington, D.C. on Monday, June 24.
Last month, Frederik Meijer Gardens gave us a sneak peek of the acts that would be coming for their annual Summer Concert Series. The first round of acts announced included country act Montgomery Gentry, actor/musician Steve Martin, and the Steve Miller Band. This morning, the Gardens announced to more acts that will be gracing their stage this season.
One of the tell-tale signs, at least in my world, that Spring is almost here, is when Frederik Meijer Gardens starts announcing the lineup for their Summer Concert Series. Every year, they bring in some of the top acts in the country to perform at their amphitheater right here in Grand Rapids. Part of this year's lineup was announced today! Now, the guitar great has revealed plans to reunite with that band for a one-off show in support of the career retrospective, 'Moving Sidewalks: The Complete Collection.'
