David Lee Roth To Join Van Halen For New Album
David Lee Roth and Van Halen are giving their longtime fans a reason to "jump" -- for joy, that is. RollingStone.com reports that the singer is working with most of the original members of his former band on a new album. It will be Van Halen's first full-length studio recording with Roth at the microphone in 27 years.
Roth was last featured on a full Van Halen album on "1984," which was named for the year in which it was released. Not appearing on the upcoming Van Halen album is the band's former bass player Michael Anthony. Anthony was replaced by Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfgang, in 2007.
