The new flavor of chips from Lays? It's Wasabi Garlic!

"The votes are in, and Lay's Kettle Cooked Wasabi Ginger-flavored chips is this year's winner of the Lay's Do Us a Flavor contest. That means it will remain in stores and that Meneko Spigner McBeth, who submitted the winning flavor, will be pocketing the greater of a $1 million grand prize or 1% of the flavor's sales through July 1, 2015.

Wasabi Ginger won out over the other three finalists: Cappuccino, Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, and Mango Salsa"

I was totally amazed the Cheddar Bacon Mac and Cheese didn't win. I mean, come on? Bacon?

Another one of my favorites, the McRib, is back! Sort of, at least

"It doesn’t look like a national promotion will be happening this year for the McRib, but some select McDonald’s restaurants are going to be offering it. News has been rolling into GrubGrade with the McRib being found in areas all across the country."

There is a locator here. Sad news? Not a McDonald's in Michigan is serving it up. Boo. Closest McRib to West Michigan? Elkart, Indiana.
