Griffins Jersey Design Contest: Day Two [Photos]

The contest to vote for the new design of the Grand Rapids Griffins alternate jerseys entered day two on the Uni-Watch web site.

Local and national fans were afforded the opportunity to design new jerseys for the team. Each day, two groups are shown and voted on, with the highest vote getter becoming the new look for the Griffins this season.

In my humble opinion, Group C is one the strongest in the competiton so far, featuring this dynamic design from Scott Garland.

Vince Guinsler added this look, which is another one that merges the Griffs logo with that of their parent club, the Detroit Red Wings.

The revamp of the Griffin dominates this ahrp effort from Jen Harley.

I've been scouring the entries looking for some that give a local feel to the look, and Group D offered this 'hunting theme' from Scott Keonigbauer.

You can vote for these, or the many other entries in Group C and D (scroll down to see the jerseys and to vote on your favorites) any time today until midnight. Two more groups to vote on will be released Friday morning.
