As the kids say, it's an epic fail.

While we all appreciate the attempt to honor the cat who saved a boy's life, it's better to leave things like pitching to those of us with opposable thumbs.

Baseball is not high on the list of things cats care about.  In fact, cats only care about two things, "Where is my next meal coming from?" and "What can I kill around the yard today?"

However, the Bakersfield minor league baseball club had committed to Tara the Cat Hero, and so the following video is their attempts to make it work.  It was a valiant effort, but next time, just give the cat a bowl of tuna and leave the pitching to the cat's owner.
