Huey Lewis Rocks Meijer Gardens
So me and my mom attended the Huey Lewis Show last night at the Frederic Meijer Gardens… We had a very tiny rain show blow through just before the show started… that didn’t stop us from having a great time…
He opened the show with “The Heart of Rock and Roll” and then proceeded to play about 8 blues and soul tunes… Granted, they weren’t the hits, but they were great.
After a couple of great acceplela numbers… the hits started pouring out… The Power of Love, I want a New Drug, Do you Believe in Love, Hip to be Square, Workin for a Living and more… Huey looked and sounded great, as did the entire band. Truly talented musicans… and a great show! If you get a chance, go and see ‘em.
