These folks tried to surprise their son with a trip to the circus, by saying they were going to a broccoli farm. Hilarity ensues.

Max is a free thinking kid. When told by his parents that they were going on a trip to a broccoli farm, he bought into the adventure wholesale. His mind was probably overflowing with visions of wide fields of broccoli, and being entertained by dancing stalks of the green stuff and flowinf cauldrons of broccoli cheese soup.

But alas, his mom and dad were just taking him to the circus, and he wanted none of that. Stupid clowns.
