Maybe A World Record At The Rockford Ice Festival?

They are going to try and do it! Set a world record at the Rockford Ice Festival this weekend. The snow came just at the right time, and Rockford will be all iced over! The third year fest will attempt to set the record for the longest ice cream sundae bar--300 feet long--with all the sundaes made in the attempt free! Whoo Hoo!

There's more to the fest than just ice cream. there will be 40 new ice sculptures will be displayed throughout town. Also a nine-hole golf course near the Rockford Dam will feature a sculpture at every hole. Sculptors will carve ice blocks on the deck at Reds on the River, where spectators can stay indoors.
