The outrageous melodrama of a Michigan State Representative who inexplicably thought sending an e-mail accusing him of having sex with a gay prostitute was better than having his affair with another State Representative, was exploited by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday.

It's the story that keeps on giving.

Earlier this week State Representative Todd Courser was revealed to have tried to get his assistant to send the incriminating e-mail. His assistant refused, and instead turned over a tape of the incident to the Detroit News.

Courser admitted the e-mail was meant to cover up an affair he was having with fellow first year representative Cindy Gamrat of Plainwell. Both have been called on to resign.

After going over the details of the scandal, Fallon further ridiculed the already ridiculous story by zinging it in his opening monologue.

After touching on the details of the story, the already laughing Fallon then added "then his wife was like, 'Got it. But we're still getting super-divorced."

View the entire monologue below, the Courser joke hits at around 2:40
