Very exciting news for the Michigan craft beer community: Dark Horse Brewing Co. from Marshall is getting a reality show!

Dark Horse Nation” will premiere on the History Channel next Tuesday, July 29, at 10 p.m.

According to the show's bio from The History Channel:

In small town Marshall, Michigan, there is a group of life-long friends living out their version of the American dream. Led by rebel entrepreneur and fearless visionary, Aaron Morse, Dark Horse is a thriving business set amongst a rural paradise. Morse and his team have been making a name for themselves since 1997, when Dark Horse started bottling their unique line of craft beers. Now distributed in 12 states, the Dark Horse crew is determined to turn their business into a household name. Its die-hard fan base even has its own nickname: Dark Horse Nation."

The show will focus mainly on Morse, who started Dark Horse in the back of his father's party store. However, it will also follow the day-to-day operations of the brewery, including employees Ryan "Chappy" Chapman, John "Cabe" Churchill and Bryan "Wiggs" Wiggs.

You can find Dark Horse's products at just about any place that sells craft beer in Michigan. My favorite Dark Horse brew is its Crooked Tree IPA, which I highly recommend!

Dark Horse was even at our Summer Craft Beer Festival on Saturday at John Ball Park in Grand Rapids!
