New Fall TV Show–“Battle Creek”

Fall of 2014 ,that is. The creative force behind "Breaking Bad" and "House" are teaming up to produce a TV show based out of Battle Creek. Yes, Kellogg's is getting a new neighbor! We have talked on the air about shows based in Michigan, and how there should be other ones. Well here is a start!

Vince Gilligan of "Breaking Bad" and "House" producer David Shore will offer up "Battle Creek" on CBS next fall. From the story "'Breaking Bad' creator's next project: 'Battle Creek'"

"a new CBS series about two Michigan cops faced with a question, according to a description released by the network. "Is cynicism, guile and deception enough to clean up the semi-mean streets of Battle Creek, Michigan, in the face of a complete lack of resources; or is the exact opposite true it takes naïveté, trust and a boatload of resources?"

Having worked in Battle Creek, the show isn't that far off. Battle Creek has some crime and drug problems, and there ism a general distrust for the law. Could be interesting!
