New Michigan Football Coach Jim Harbaugh: ‘I’m Not Worth Five Million Dollars A Year’ [Video]
They're now calling him "Honest Jim."
In a moment of brutal honesty that stunned even the reporter, new University of Michigan Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh admitted no coach is worth $5 million a year, including him.
However, he's not giving it back, and he's willing to work for it.
And then the reporter did 60 push-ups.
WJBK-TV Fox 2 reporter Charlie LeDuff is known for his unique take on the typical TV interview, and he's never shied away from the tough questions.
So, even he was taken aback when Harbaugh admitted he's probably way over paid as a football coach. As LeDuff, who's rarely at a loss for words, stared at him in stunned silence, Harbaugh handled the follow-up question with relative ease:
Well, why don't you give it back?"
As with most LeDuff interviews, this interview is weird and wonderful and, as always, revolves around LeDuff.
