With the school year just beginning, it's never too early to think about the upcoming science fairs. What are you going to do? The same old tooth in the coke trick? Lame. Here's the hot new (easy) one: Slow motion fall bottle.

The easy way to make a slow motion bottle at home. I hope you enjoy it :-) See you soon with an another DIY video!

The glass balls can be replaced by steel balls. The number and weight of balls affects the speed.

When I was a kid right out of high school I worked for a time at a science museum in my hometown. I have lodged in the back of my mind all of the science demonstrations I used to do. What I did, how they worked. All so that when I have a kid and it's science fair time, they'll have a head up on the competition.

Slow motion bottle trick is a great lesson in viscosity.

Here's how I'd approach this video as a science project. Sure you could just do the one bottle but you could take this experiment to the next level by having 3 different bottles, all with 4 marbles each. Put honey in one, water in the second one, and leave the last one empty.

Hypothesis: how will each bottle react.

I'll leave the paper work to you.
