Kalamazoo Police Closing Investigation Into Teleka Patrick’s Death

 

Police plan to plan to close the investigation into the death of Michigan doctor Teleka Patrick whose body was found in an Indiana lake.

Indiana State Police Detective Sgt. Rick Strong told the Kalamazoo Gazette that toxicology tests for Teleka Patrick turned up "nothing out of the ordinary." Investigators in Indiana had been waiting for the results of the tests since April.

Sixteenth Annual Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford Is Saturday [Audio]

The 16th annual Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford, a five-kilometer (3.1-mile) run/walk and kids' fun run, is Saturday in downtown Rockford.

Proceeds from the benefit go to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, a non-profit dedicated to expediting viable treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal genetic disorder that slowly robs those stricken with the disease of their muscle strength.
