Baby Makes Best Grossed-Out Faces Ever (Video)
Usually kids aren't the biggest fans of vegetables. This is why parents have to trick them with "airplane fork" or "choo-choo train spoon". For me, my dad's clever method of "daring" me-- I bet you won't eat that. I'm sure you can't finish your broccoli-- got me every time. Challenge accepted, Pops, I will absolutely kill all this broccoli! Well, the little one in this video is also not a fan of her greens. And you can tell by the absolutely horrendous faces she makes while choking them down.
Craigslist User Seeks ‘Bacon Dangler’
A gentleman on Craigslist is looking for someone who can really dangle some bacon. When I first heard this story, my mind went straight to the gutter-- I mean, 'dangle bacon'? C'mon. If that isn't sexual innuendo, I don't know what is. However, I was mistaken. Turns out the Craigslist poster is actually looking for someone to help him work out...Yep. Think of the whole carrot on a stick idea-- this guy is hoping the delicious breakfast meat will help get him to the gym.
Amazing Six-Year-Old Boy With Autism Plays Billy Joel, Coldplay and More
It’s always exciting to see a young prodigy rock out on a musical instrument (especially since we can barely carry a tune ourselves). But six-year-old pianist Ethan Walmark is all the more impressive since he has Autism Spectrum Disorder and has been playing songs by ear since the tender age of four.
Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Journey Songs Covered on ‘Rock of Ages’ Soundtrack
When Tom Cruise starred in ‘Risky Business,’ he only had to lip-sync the Bob Seger classic ‘Old Time Rock & Roll.’
But in the upcoming big-screen version of the Broadway hit ‘Rock of Ages,’ Cruise actually sings hits by Guns N’ Roses and Def Leppard — and those renditions are part of the movie’s soundtrack, due June 5.
Meijer Keeps Getting Bigger
Our little own Meijer is about to go over 200 stores, and expand into it's 6th State. Wisconsin is next up. Hard to believe that the little store that started in Greenville now finds itself in 6 states and over 200 stores. This is important, because let's remember, Meijer is headquartered here, and the Meijer family has given so much back to this community over the years. We should feel proud of out "little Meijer" stores... And even better - The Purple Cow is coming back!
‘A Boy Named Sue’ by Johnny Cash – Classic Hit or Miss
The song was written Shel Silverstein that has been made popular by Johnny Cash. Cash was at the height of his popularity when he recorded the song live at California's San Quentin State Prison at a concert on February 24, 1969. The concert was filmed by Granada Television for later television broadcast. The audio of the concert was later released on Cash's At San Quentin album. Cash also performed the song (with comical variations on the original performance) in December 1969 at Madison Square Garden. The song became Cash's biggest hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and his only top ten single there, spending three weeks at #2 in 1969. Cash's thirty-six consecutive previous entries that reached the pop charts but failed to reach their top ten is the all-time record for any act.
Happy Birthday To Michigan’s Casey Kasem! [VIDEO-Maybe NSFW]
According to Dennis Leary, now that Dick Clark is dead, Casey Kasem is "now reveling in his status as last and reigning king of leather faced syrup voiced lizard people”. And he's also 80 years old! What better way to celebrate his birthday by giving you the good and the bad of Casey! Casey has Michigan ties, he was born in Detroit, went to Wayne State, and got his start in radio in Flint.
As Rosie’s Diner Hits Auction, More Pre Fab Food Outlets Might Be Hitting City
I told you Tuesday that Rosie's Diner in Rockford was hitting the auction block. As of 4 o'clock, the bidding was up to $125,500.00. That's pretty good! But it might not be the last we see of diners in the greater Grand Rapids area.
Carol Burnett Turns 79 [VIDEO]
We can't talk about classic hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's without mentioning a lady that was on TV for those entire 3 decades. We've been laughing at Ms. Burnett for over 50 years, so let's go back to the 70's and relive this classic. Has TV even been as good as this stuff? Maybe, but nothing will ever be as funny as skits like this.
So tell me - what was funnier than this stuff?
