The song features guest vocals by Kate Pierson of the B-52's, who also has a prominent role in the song's music video.It peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, the fourth and, to date, last R.E.M. single to reach the top 10 on the chart. It also peaked at #6 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the first R.E.M. song to reach the top ten in the UK and the only one to reach the top ten in both countries.

Being in broadcasting, signal hijacking is fascinating to me. We've covered some of the most famous (Chicago's Max Headroom incident) to the creepy (The 'death list' aired on New York City's WKCR). This incident from Jacksonville, Florida is 2007 is just bizarre.
Celebrities often get a bad rap, but recently a group of celebs came together to do something really great for a young man with a form of bone cancer. Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with cancer when he was 14 and was not given a very good prognosis. Zach has handled his diagnosis, and the knowledge that he will not beat this disease with grace and joy and love. And it helped him discover that he has a real knack for song writing. He wrote a song as a final goodbye to his family and friends, and the video for it went viral. What happened next is truly awesome.

'American Idol' used to be the hottest show on television, but after 13 years, it's starting to show its age. The show's ratings have slipped from regularly having 30 million viewers to now somewhere around 11 million. And though the show has had some different judges over the course of its run, it's now looking to ditch all four current judges to have a fresh face for season 13.
