Patti LaBelle doesn’t take too kindly to risqué performances. The singer was performing in Vancouver Friday night when she invited some audience members on stage to dance. But when a male participant started to unbutton his shirt, Patti was having none of it.

“Hold on. Hold up,” said Patti, as she got her band to stop playing. “Don’t your dare. Not on my stage. No, thank you. Let me say something.” After waving off a bodyguard, LaBelle told the crowd, “I am 71 years young. I am not Nicki Minaj or that little Miley (Cyrus).” The guy then turned his back to Patti to show off his butt and she booted him right off. “Oh, no! Get off of my god darn stage, b*tch! And stay off! Put him out of the building! Put him out. How dare you.”

After apologizing to the audience, and calling the offending dancer a “rude American,” Patti added, “I need somebody bring some peace up in here. You know the devil was busy. The devil was here about 20 minutes ago. I saw it. I tried to block it. I’m so sorry you heard me say a bad word. I’m a Gemini, and things come out of my mouth sometimes.” Go girl!
