Next March, with the blessing of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner, the iconic publication won’t have any nude women in the pages.

Before you ask, 'What!?? Playboy's still around?' or 'Can't we get that for free on the internet?', it turns out it's been a long time coming.

Playboy’s Chief Executive, Scott Flanders, explains “You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free.  And so it’s just passé at this juncture.” Not to mention their sales have dwindled to just 800,000 subscriptions a month.

The magazine will still have a Playmate of the Month, but instead of being in the buff, she will be posing in a racy way. The joke of buying Playboy for the articles will become truth. Some of the content has already been cleaned up to be compatible with social media.

Truth be told, Playboy has a long history of great literature (no joke). Noted authors such as Norman Mailer and Kurt Vonnegut have been published in the men's magazine.

Who saw this coming? The parent company did. They have been doing research for months to plan the revamp and its tweak towards millennial tastes.

Looks like nothing is immune to change.

But it does bring back memories of trying to secure a copy as a horny 14 year old boy. We went to elaborate lengths to abscond with copies, so we could see naked ladies. Ah, those were the days.
