Russian Dash Cam Footage Never Fails To Entertain, This Time Sponge Bob Square Pants Beats A Guy Up

If you ever want to escape into a world of bizarre car wrecks, strange criminals and cattle falling out of trucks, simply go to YouTube and search "Russian Dash Cam videos".

Russians have long had cameras affixed to their car dashboards, mainly to thwart insurance scam artists who fake pedestrian accidents to win large settlements.

This time, a guy driving along a highway in Siberia was treated to an early morning attack, led by Sponge Bob and Mickey Mouse.

The child-unfriendly scene reportedly took place in the city of Chelyabinsk at about 2:30 a.m Saturday morning, and the victim must have thought he was dreaming as SpongeBob SquarePants, Mickey Mouse, a squirrel that looks like Scrat from "Ice Age," and an unidentified rabbit, kicked and punched him as he lay defenselessly on the floor.

I don't know how real this is, or whether it was staged for promotional purposes, but the reactions of the drunk guys in the car are worth the two minute watch time.

"Thank you for waking me up!" one of the witnesses can be heard saying in the video.
