Summer Craft Beer Festival Preview: Vander Mill Ciders

I must say, I’ve been spoiled with a lot of great beer (and cider) lately!

We’ve got our Summer Craft Beer Festival coming up tomorrow at John Ball Park from 2 p.m.- 7 p.m. and Alexa from Vander Mill Cider stopped by to give me a sneak peak of what they’ll have to offer tomorrow.

Vander Mill is located out in Spring Lake. Now, I’ve never been to Vander Mill, but I’m very familiar with their ciders!

Vander Mill’s “Blue Gold” (blueberry/ apple cider) is my go-to drink whenever I’m down at the Pyramid Scheme over on Commerce.

I’ve tried most of the canned Vander Mill ciders like their traditional “Hard Apple Cider”, “Blue Gold”, and “Ginger-Peach” (which goes great with sushi if you’re into that sort of thing), but the one that captured my attention was their “Totally Roasted”- a cider with vanilla, cinnamon, and roasted pecans- it tastes just like a pie!

You can find a 4-pack of 16 oz. Vander Mill ciders at just about any Spartan or craft beer stores in the area like Martha's Vineyard, and they also partner with local bars like the Winchester, the Green Well and HopCat to offer their delicious ciders on tap!
