Whenever The Defenders premieres, almost two years will have passed since Marvel and Netflix first introduced us to Jessica Jones. We’ve known for some time that Krysten Ritter’s hard-edged P.I. won’t formally return in her own series until 2018, but reports suggest Season 2 production is finally gearing up in New York.

As much as Marvel’s Netflix Jessica Jones made it clear from the get-go the series wasn’t interested in a traditional costumed superhero approach, Jessica formed a memorable style all her own, with few deviations throughout the 13 episodes. Now, costume designer Stephanie Maslansky explains the process of Jessica Jones’ look, as well if the character actually owned more than one outfit.

At this rate, they will officially cancel shows before they are even thought of! The Hollywood Reporter is doing what it does. Reporting that a new show from NBC with Krysten Ritter has already been shelved.
