Yesterday morning, the SpaceX CRS-7 resupply mission ended in an explosion.

An unmanned SpaceX rocket named Falcon 9 exploded soon after takeoff yesterday in Florida. It was headed to the International Space Station as part of a resupply mission; thankfully, no one was on board.

This was the third resupply mission to fail in several months; explosions destroyed rockets in April and last October. The three astronauts aboard ISS, including Scott Kelly, have enough food to last them until October, according to NASA. However, we're sure they would have enjoyed the 15-hundred pounds of food and other items like a new docking device and a water filtration system that were on Falcon 9 before it exploded.

Another supply mission, planned by Russia, is scheduled for Friday, followed by another one later in July. The next SpaceX flight is scheduled for September. During that time, SpaceX, which is owned by Elon Musk, along with the FAA will be investigating to figure out what went wrong with Falcon 9.

Thankfully, it was unmanned and no injuries have been reported – so check out the explosion that takes place around the 3:20 mark.
